Another Point But It Could Have Been More

Sun 21st Jun 2015

The Ipswich 'Sackers' Witches came very close to taking a win against the Glasgow Tigers on Sunday afternoon but another poor start hampered this.

Ipswich team manager, Phil Hilton, summed up the meeting as follows: "Another good point gained although again a bad start to the meeting cost us the meeting with too many points being lost through falls and mistakes. However once again the boys pulled themselves together and run a much fancied Glasgow side to a last heat decider. Number one Danny King, Nico Covatti and Gino Manzares all scored vital wins and Stefan Nielsen contributed well on his return to the side. Both Rohan and Ritchie struggled and despite their best efforts never really looked at home on the pacy Ashfield track".
