Monthly Quiz
Our monthly quiz takes place at Kesgrave Social Club on the second Wednesday of each month; the next one is on Wednesday 13th June. Our second quiz on May 9th was well attended and a total of seventeen teams took part with the 'I Don't Knows' taking the honours after scoring an impressive 82 points. They were closely followed by 'Stan Pepper Fan Club' on 80.5 points and 'The Undecided' on 74.5 points. The 'wooden spoon' went to 'Need Another Beer' this month who scored 39 points. Several of the Ipswich riders were in attendance. Why not join us next month and see if you can mount a challenge for that first prize! There will be a change of quizmaster in June with Stephen Foster from BBC Radio Suffok taking over the mike. Please also note that in July the quiz switches to a Sunday night (8th July) as we have a home meeting on Wednesday 11th July.

These are open to everybody and will be mainly General Knowledge so you don't have to be a speedway expert to compete! Entry cost is £1 per person with a maximum of four people in a team. We will also be holding a raffle at each quiz. There is a prize for the winning team. Other dates: June 13th, July 8th, August 8th (more to follow). |

Injured Rider Collections (for Morten & Taylor)
We are planning to hold collections for both Taylor Poole and Morten Risager in the coming weeks. Taylor’s collection will take place on Good Friday, 6th April and a collection bucket will be in the Supporters Club Lounge before then for anyone who would like to donate early. Morten’s collection will take place on Monday 7th May with a collection bucket in the Supporters Club Lounge available for donations from Thursday 12th April.
Taylor Update:
The collection for Taylor raised a very impressive £885 - many thanks to all fans for their generous contributions - Taylor was presented with his cheque on Thursday April 26th.
Morten Update:
The collection for Morten raised an equally impressive £843 - many thanks again to all fans for their generous contributions - Morten will be presented with his cheque on Thursday May 17th.
Number Squares Game (in aid of Anglian Junior League team)
We are launching a new 100 square grid game on Friday 6th April. The prize is an Acoustic Solutions Micro Hi-Fi with Digital Radio, kindly donated by Steve Smith Electrical and all proceeds will be used to help our Anglian Junior League riders. The winning number will be announced when all squares have been sold.
The grid will be in the Supporters Club lounge at each home meeting, so come in and claim your square (£1.00 each) and help us to help the young riders!
