Monthly Quiz

Our monthly quiz takes place on the second Wednesday of each month, at Kesgrave Social Club (Edmonton Road, Kesgrave, IP5 1EE) and starts at 7:30pm.

Many thanks to all of those who attended the Quiz on Wednesday 10th April. We hope you all enjoyed it, despite Cheryl's attack of the giggles again! From very early on, we had three teams as front runners - Skidmark, Piston Broke and Woolies, and there was a bit of jostling for position before Piston Broke finally broke (see what we did there!) free and ran out comfortable winners on 85 points. Second were Woolies on 79 points, followed by Skidmark on 75.5. At the other end of the table, Dirty Helmets proved to be the strongest team after holding up the rest of the teams all night! They finished on 42.5 points. As soon as we have confirmation of the venue for next months' quiz, we'll announce it on here, the official website and at the stadium, so keep your eyes and ears open!

2013 Dates: May 8th, June 12th, July 10th, August 14th, September 11th, October 9th & November 13th.

These are open to everybody and will be mainly General Knowledge so you don't have to be a speedway expert to compete! There is a prize for the winning team.

Entry cost is £1 per person with a maximum of four people in a team. We will also be holding a raffle at each quiz.

There will be two pick up points: Crown Street (behind Marks and Spencer's car park and Morrisons on Sproughton Road. The Coach will be leaving at 8.30am and there will be one stop en-route to allow plenty of time In Cardiff before the meeting starts. Please note the consumption of alcohol on board the Coach is not permitted.
