As well as a new team on track there will be a new look presentation team at Foxhall this season.
The club was very sorry to hear today that Stephen Foster is stepping down from his role as presenter due to increasing work commitments. He will be much missed after the great job he has done over the last two seasons. He will, however, continue to give the Ipswich Witches as much coverage as he can on his popular BBC Radio Suffolk shows and remains a big Witches supporter: "In recent years the Witches have played an important part in my life and it's been a privilege being behind the microphone on the centre green and in the pits. I now look forward to supporting the Witches from the terraces. I wish the 2011 presenters Kevin Long and Mike Western all the best for the coming season and, of course, look forward to a successful campaign for the new-look Witches."
So after a two year absence Kevin Long will once again don the familiar white jacket and be back on the mike. He wasn't that far away last season as he spent most of it on the grandstand roof as a commentator for Rerun Productions. He is joined by Mike Western who took over the announcer's role when Bryan Knights retired at the end of last season. Rumour has it that Shane Parker is already counting the days until he visits Foxhall in April...
