The Ipswich 'Sackers' Witches will be making their second live appearance of the season on Sky Sports on Tuesday evening. Last time it was an away meeting against the Somerset 'Cases' Rebels; this time the opposition stays the same but it takes place at Foxhall Stadium, usual start time 7:30pm.
The two clubs have already met five times this season; home & away in the League Cup with Ipswich coming out on top by six points, the televised Premier League away fixture which ended 40-50 to Somerset and then home & away in the Knock Out Cup where Ipswich again came out on top by two points. All of the fixtures were very closely contested, producing some excellent racing and Ipswich will be very keen to make it a hat trick of victories over Somerset on their home track.
Ipswich Team Manager, Pete Simmons, is looking to his team to bounce back after last week's disappointing home defeat against Scunthorpe and has shuffled the pack in an attempt to get some of his riders back on track scoring the points he knows they are capable of. Morten Risager moves to number two, Kevin Doolan moves to number four where Dakota North rejoins him at number three. The number five racejacket will now be worn by the in-form Rohan Tungate.
Director of Speedway, Chris Louis, said "We are very pleased to welcome the Sky cameras to Foxhall on Tuesday especially as they specifically chose to show the return clash between us & Somerset following the excellent night's racing produced down at their place in May. I expect this encounter to be as closely fought as all the other meetings between the two teams this year and I hope that Witches supporters will turn out in force to cheer on their team on Tuesday night".
