The Ipswich 'Sackers' Witches head to Beaumont Park, Leicester. tomorrow (Sunday 23rd) for the restaged final of the Premier League Fours; start time is 5:00pm. The original staging of this event was rained off on 7th August after the sixteen qualifying heats had been completed with Ipswich heading Group 2 on 15 points. They are joined in the final by home team Leicester, Somerset and Workington.

The final will now be run over 20 heats with each team able to nominate any five riders from their current team lineup. The choice of rider occupying the reserve position could prove crucial as he can be used four times in the first 16 heats and once in the last four. There will also be a tactical option for a programmed rider if a team falls eight or more points behind.

Ipswich are able to field a strong lineup for this event and will be aiming to bring some silverware to Foxhall Stadium at the end of their first season back in the Premier League. They last won the PL Fours trophy at Peterborough in 1991.
