Witches Head North For The Final Push
The Ipswich 'Sackers' Witches head back to Derwent Park on Saturday for their final league meeting of the 2011 season against the Workington 'Thomas Armstrong' Comets. They need a minimum of three league points to overtake Sheffield and move into second place in the Premier League table and team manager Pete Simmons is urging the whole team to step up a gear and finish their league fixtures on a high.
Ipswich are able to field a stronger team this time with Mat Tresarrieu back in the side although he will need to emulate his Rye House performance from last Sunday as opposed to his nil return from Foxhall on Thursday! Ritchie Hawkins steps in again at reserve as cover for the injured Chris Mills. Workington field the same team as last Friday apart from a guest change at number six with Ashley Morris coming in as cover for the injured Gary Irving.
Update: Jerran Hart picked up a wrist injury on Thursday night so Tom Perry has been booked to guest in his place.
