The Ipswich' Sackers' Witches will face the Plymouth 'Stitches Tailoring' Devils in a rescheduled League Cup fixture on Thursday after the original one was rained off. They are lead by an impressive head leader trio of Ben Barker, Ryan Fisher and Cory Gathercole and have recemtly added another talented young Aussie, Todd Kurtz, to their lineup. The Witches side is unchanged from the side that sent the Sheffield Tigers away pointless on Bank Holiday Monday.

Ipswich team manager, Pete Simmons, has impressed upon his team that that they need to take all three points again this week to ensure they maintain their position in the top two of the 'South' League Cup table. This is the last home League Cup fixture for Ipswich but they still have to face Plymouth and Rye House away.

Latest fixture list updates: Ipswich v Newcastle (PL) has been provisionally rescheduled for Thursday June 28th and Plymouth v Ipswich (LC) has been provisionally rescheduled for Friday June 29th. However, if any of the clubs involved progress to the next round of the Knock Out Cup then the fixtures will revert to KOC Quarter Finals and new dates will be agreed for the other fixtures.

Everyone at Ipswich Speedway is deeply saddened and shocked to hear of the death of Lakeside Hammers captain Lee Richardson. Lee died in Wroclaw, Poland on Sunday as a result of injuries sustained in a racing incident during an Extraliga meeting.
